Job Description
Your mission
As a Software Testing Specialist for Avaloq, you will be creating and maintaining automated tests for the Avaloq Smart Client along with leadership responsibilities for the test automation squad.
Your operational responsibilities will revolve in the following service areas:
Create and maintain test cases for the ABR/S baseline. Translate use case and test case documents into automated test cases via scripting (we use different frameworks and technologies). Fix or adapt the test cases if deemed necessary.
Perform business as usual operations such as reporting bugs/problems that are discovered by the automated tests.
Innovate and maintain the existing test frameworks.
Coaching and training on quality assurance where needed
Qualifications
What you need
Strong scripting languages know how such as JavaScript and familiar with JSON (JavaScript Object Notation). Other scripting languages/tools are considered.
Test Plan and Test Case development
Experienced or familiar with API testing via Postman platform
Has a grasp on object oriented programming and relational database
Knowledge about Bit Bucket or other software versioning and revision control system
Knowledge in Oracle database administration is preferred
Experience in end to end test environment and framework setup is not a requirement but is a key skill set
