Job Description
Microchip's fast-growing Analog Power and Interface Division (APID) is looking for an experienced and motivated senior test engineer to provide test software and hardware solutions for its diverse analog and mixed-signal portfolio of products.
This position includes working in a team environment interacting with design, architecture, applications, marketing and product engineering to develop capabilities to validate, characterize and test a variety of analog and mixed signal products (specifically focusing on power and interface devices).
This position is located in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines and some travel will be required.
Job Requirements:
BS or MS degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience developing ATE test solutions for analog and mixed-signal semiconductor devices
Experience and knowledge include analog, power and mixed-signal device/circuitry comprised of HV drivers, LED drivers, CAN/LIN, USB port power, Buck/Boost regulators and LDO's.
Develop hardware and software solutions for wafer probe, qualification testing, characterization and cost-effective production test packages that can be utilized and sustained in high volume production.
Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills with an understanding of semiconductor test and FA methods
. Software experience with C, C++ or Microsoft Visual Basic.
Experience with project management and solid organizational skills
Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global multi-functional team environment
Willingness to travel

Highly Desired Skills:
Experience on analog and mixed-signal ATE platforms: SPEA C600MX/DOT800 and ETS-300/88.
Understanding of DFT, BIST, SCAN, statistical process control, calibration theory, and test limit guard banding methodology.
