Job Description Responsibilities: Act as a key resource and actively support the North American & Asia project team in onboarding accounts to the new Bank Reconciliation application and cash subledger. Develop both the business and technical expertise in the Bank Reconciliation application and act as the first point of contact for escalation from other team members regarding investigating and resolving reconciliation production errors, outstanding items resolution or any system failure. Escalate failures or rejects that cannot be resolved immediately to IFS. Work with the designated team members to troubleshoot the problem, determine solution and implement fix. Lead creation and/or maintenance of test scripts for hotfix, code drops and disaster recovery. Coach analysts through maintenance and execution of test scripts. Lead working group which is actively tracking production and enhancement issues. Advocating for application enhancements and investigation production issues. Assist in developing, drafting and maintaining procedures for continuing business activity required after implementations or enhancements to application. Support team members in ensuring a smooth transition to updated processes due to application enhancements while maintaining continuity of business activity, without missing SLAs. Act as the key trainer for new and existing team members on the Bank Reconciliation process in new bank reconciliation application. Arrange regular training sessions, develop work guides and cheat sheets to facilitate ongoing knowledge sharing within the team, to develop overall competency and knowledge of the reconciliation application and related cash subledger. Recommend ongoing process improvements and push for full usage of Bank Reconciliations application, that may be tracked through working group. Share knowledge with account reconciliations team (who primarily reconcile GL accounts) and collaborate as SME from bank reconciliation to assist in account reconciliations enhancements. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance or related area CTP, CPA or another treasury/finance related certification. Knowledge of treasury operations and bank reconciliations process is required. Advanced to Expert Excel training is required. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Experience as SME of bank reconciliations and problem solving related to account reconciliations. Ability to learn the technical side of a Treasury System (with a focus on bank reconciliations and cash ledger). Ability to troubleshoot problems, exhaust available options and determine when escalation or engaging outside help is required. Comfortable using excel and excel style worksheets. Beginner level excel is not sufficient. Ability to connect the dots between different sources of information to investigate variances and explain the reason for the observed differences using bank reconciliation application, cash subledger and other sources of information. Attention to detail and ability to react quickly and respond to problems within tight deadlines. Proactive - willing to identify issues, ask questions, recommend alternative solutions and implement the agreed upon solution. Ability to interact and coordinate with various stakeholders (internal and external). Team player and ability to work as a team within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and critical functions that demand a high level of accuracy.
