Description:
Based on a bachelor degree in Informatics or engineering of computer sciences or an equivalent IT education (m/w/d) you will take over the responsibility as Senior Systems Engineer within IT Infrastructure Office 365 Center of Excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You are an expert for the Microsoft 365 suite with detailed technical and license know how.
You are familiar with the Microsoft Evergreen process, the different development rings and the product lifecycle.
As part of your Job you will lead the Office 365 evergreen meeting to perform a preliminary check with a team of technical expert's new features which are in development or in rollout by Microsoft and judge on the impact for Data Privacy and workers council requirements. Those pre-judgements will be reviewed by the Evergreen board to give feedback to the Subject Matter experts with advice if features can be rolled out without concerns or if features must be reconfigured or switched off.
You have a good understanding on what can to the different tools, which are part of the Microsoft 365 Enterprise plans.
As part of the CoE for Office 365 you will lead the Service board which aligns the System leads and Subject Matter experts for the different Services, identify dependencies or inform about news.
You have a profound knowledge about the Microsoft license Model and the service descriptions of the Microsoft 365 enterprise plans. You gather requirements from the different stakeholders for new features of our Evergreen Database and track their implementation by our developers..
Requirements:
We value experience over everything else, however a first or upper second class honors degree or master's equivalent in Informatics, Engineering or Computer Sciences will definitely push your CV to the top of the list.
2 years of relevant work experience * Flexible working, including out of hours support
Collaboration with the first and second level support team and other departments inside and outside of information systems.
Ability to work under pressure, with service orientation, the right sense of urgency and a reliable way of working.
You should have the capacity of teamwork, the right flexibility and excellent communication skills.
ITIL aware
Scripting and Automation experience for Office 365 Services (PowerShell)
Willingness to travel
Mandatory Skills:
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 Services such as Exchange-Online, Sharepoint-Online, Teams (Collaboration, Voice and Video) PowerApps, PowerBI, Forms, OneDrive for Business, Intune, ATP, AIP, Endpoint Manager, Office 365 Apps, Yammer, security and compliance center, etc
Excellent knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory, including DHCP, DFS, DNS and WINS.
Competent knowledge of the Operating system Windows Server 2016/2019 - Knowhow of TCP/IP Networks
Excellent Microsoft 365 License knowhow
Excellent Powershell skills
Good knowledge on Microsoft Authentication (Active Directory and Azure AD)
Structured documentation
Excellent English skills (verbal and written)
