Regularly monitors/assesses the performance and security of the Globalsign Data Centers / servers (JAPAN, SG, and UK DC) and related equipment.
Handles alert maintenance or incidents on internal servers and coordinates with third-party providers regarding the configuration and maintenance of outsourced GlobalSign services.
Monitors, investigates and escalates alerts/cases/unplanned maintenance/or utilization issues affecting the production networks.
Provides reports to internal partners (e.g. incident reports, utilization reports, or audit reports).
Trains and mentors team members as required to increase their knowledge and facilitate their development.
Candidate to possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or an equivalent four (4)-year degree course.
Minimum of 3-5 years of system administration work, including Linux administration, network troubleshooting, and management of cloud-based (e.g. AWS) services.
Scripting and automation experience in bash and/or python. Experience developing scripts for ansible or chef is a bonus.
Expert troubleshooting skills, able to investigate and resolve complex customer issues involving DNS, TCP, HTTP(S), and proprietary applications, pushing back to the internal customer or support agent when appropriate.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team, collaborating on projects and tasks.
Strong technical documentation and communication skills
Willing to work on a shifting schedule, including Holidays.
