What you'll be doing:
We are currently searching for an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to work in support of our Digital and Cloud based project solutions. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to supporting virtualization solutions for enterprise environments and will have exposure to virtualization software, infrastructure, and datacenter networking. You will be part of a team providing a first in class cloud based collaboration solution for our enterprise business clients.
Self-motivated engineer who is able to prioritize projects, issues and tasks and work under minimum supervision.
Daily operational support of entire server environment including administration, maintenance and troubleshooting
Enterprise patch management and enterprise server management
Debugging problematic software
Server staging
Working with a team to help maintain the vSphere infrastructure within global data centers in support of the cloud solution service offering for TTEC's clients.
Will work with a team to help support Cisco Hyperflex platforms and UCS server chassis
Shared responsibility and highly skilled at providing Windows & Linux Server Administration and Support at the enterprise level
Responsible for producing high quality deliverables in a timely fashion.
Provide technical assistance to help resolve issues relating to a variety of enterprise technologies.
Work with vendors / cross team engineering group/s to provide solutions to complex issues.
What You Bring to the Role
8-10 years' experience deploying, supporting, and administering VMware in large virtual server infrastructure environments which should include SAN, NFS vm data storage configuration and management
8-10 years enterprise level administration and troubleshooting experience with Windows and Linux Servers
Experienced on AD, GPO, DNS
Understanding on backup config and restore using Cohesity; windows patch & software deployment and basic automation using SCCM
Experienced on Server Commissioning Hyperflex, UCS B-series, C-series server chassis understanding server hardware, firmware, OS and driver compatibility and have worked around Cisco UCS Manager.
Familiarity on vendor relation such as creating Build-of-Materials for new Cisco hardware, processing RMA for defective parts and onsite engineer coordination.
Must possess great change management skills from planning, impact assessment, coordination and implementation.
Must possess good problem solving and troubleshooting skills in supporting enterprise level clients
Must possess logical and methodical problem-solving skills as well as the ability to communicate and justify the resolution process where necessary.
VCP, MCSA or MCSE certifications preferred but not required
