Job Summary
The Senior Structural Engineer performs structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes, standards and engineering formulas. Reviews design/ shop drawings, produce sketches for inclusion by CAD Designers. He/ She coordinates and schedule deliverables and perform site inspection, subcontractor, outsource designers' & client interfaces.
Job Description
- Prepares structural design drawings and ensures the conformance to applicable engineering codes & standards and client's requirements giving emphasis on value engineering
- Conducts quantity estimation of structures and related fields
- Performs detailed technical analysis of moderate to complex project design issues
- Maintains compliance of design team to the established quality assurance requirements
- Monitors and supervises erection of steel structures in the projects for industrial facilities
- Monitors various projects and their conformance to design and construction
- Provides feedback and advice regarding the technical and structural aspects of company/client projects to management and other project leaders
Job Qualifications
- Registered Civil Engineer
- At least 5 years of experience in Design Engineering from Contractor or Design Firm in Conceptual, - Detailed Construction, As-built Phases.
- With exposure in Building Systems or Industrial Warehouses including Foundation Systems & Site Development.
- Well-versed in using computer programs like STAAD, ETABS and other related design softwares; can also perform manual calculations.
- Willing to travel to project sites as needed
