SQE:
Qualifies new supplier/s by conducting quality systems audit and product (raw material) qualification.
Works with the current suppliers to continually improve the quality of raw materials and close the gap between the goal and actual quality DPPM rates.
Drives completion of supplier corrective action reports (SCARs) for quality issues observed during IQA/ ISE.
Coordinates with the Suppliers and Process Engineers regarding the development and qualification of newly sourced materials.
Performs systems audit for suppliers as needed.
IQA
Develops a system to effectively control the quality of incoming materials.
Establishes the visual, mechanical and electrical inspection criteria and specifications.
Mentors the staff, team leaders and IQA inspectors regarding established inspection procedures.
Initiates projects to improve quality of the raw materials and enhances the performance of the function.
Responds to performance indices to close the gap between the target and the actual performances.
Job Qualifications:
Engineering graduate preferably Materials Engineering
At least 3-5 years' Supplier Management experience [(1) Identifying, (2) Qualification (3) Development & (4) Finding Contingencies
Knowledgeable in CMM/basic measuring equipment, windows office, plastic injection, substrates (i.e. PCB, ceramic, headers, leadframes)
Can interact with different levels and different nationalities. * Has good negotiation skills
Preferably with QA experience
