What you will do
Work closely with the Channel Sales team to deliver partner workshops in line with the channel go-to-market strategy
Serve as the main technical point of contact for the partner account and a trusted advisor to partner technical teams and their business contacts in various capacities: partner development and enablement, partner solutions and joint offerings, and partner deal pursuit
Lead the technical conversation, explaining the ways in which Red Hat's portfolio and architected solutions address the customer's business and organizational needs
Demonstrate and discuss how the use of the Red Hat portfolio is able to solve customer problems and use cases in conjunction with partner's value-add offerings
Support partners in delivering high-quality solution proofs of concepts and pilots to increase customer confidence in our offerings
Understand the partner business model and demonstrate knowledge of partner go-to-market strategies and Red Hat relevance in comparison to other vendor's offerings
Own or influence the Partner Technical Enablement or Account Plan that is part of the overall partner business or go-to-market plan
Contribute to, support, and deliver relevant Partner Programs and initiatives
What you will bring
5+ years of experience working in a technical presales, partner solutions architect, support, or consulting role
Advanced knowledge of UNIX or Linux systems, preferably in Red Hat's platform solutions including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Satellite, and other related technologies
Experience with the latest cloud technologies like Docker containers, Kubernetes, and virtualization technologies like KVM and VMware
Positive outlook with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others to provide the best solutions to our partners
Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services
Solid technical experience in one or more Red Hat's solutions areas like platform, middleware, cloud, or storage is a plus
