Mission
In the virtual account team, we work on Xendit's virtual account product. The team is responsible for building mission-critical services, maintaining connections to banks and providers, and working through various issues associated with local infrastructure to ensure that payouts are executed successfully, correctly and promptly.
We're looking for highly passionate software engineers to help us refine our disbursements product so that it is highly scalable, reliable and fault-tolerant. You'll be joining our technical team to build a complex distributed system used by regional customers. You'll work with our business and operations teams to understand and solve customer pain points and work with other engineers to build new features that will delight our customers.
Responsibilities
Improve Virtual Account system reliability, and scalability so that the product will survive in the long term, and be easy to deploy and maintain
Collaborate with the tech lead and engineers to deliver project based on performance, availability, reliability, and scalability considerations
Manage the Virtual Account technical roadmap to ensure we meet team metrics and achieve goals
Take ownership for major/crucial projects which will take significant impact to customers
Mentor engineers and team to consistently follow best engineering practices
You may be a good fit if
Experience dealing with service oriented architecture / microservices
Experience in Node.js (Typescript, Javascript), and Go as programming language
Experience in Mongodb and Postgresql database
Experience with RESTful web services
Experience in improving CI/CD technology
Experience working with bank payment APIs
Able to drive the automation for the virtual account operations
Proficient in scalable and sustainable architectural designs
Experience in Docker and Kubernetes as infrastructure platform technology
Experience in UNIX family operating system
