As a Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing high-quality applications being used across TPG Telecom. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. On a daily basis, you will be expected to;
Provide application requirement analysis, solution design, specification and undertake development on key systems used across TPG Telecom.
Provide support and maintain existing business software applications.
Collaborate with various business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts and other developers.
Achieve high standards in project delivery and post-deployment software support.
Provide mentorship to more junior developers.
Always be on the lookout to improve the way we work, and speak up with suggestions for a better way, with the aim of exceeding our customers' expectations.

To be considered for the role, candidates are expected to have;
5+ years experience in developing applications using JAVA in an enterprise level environment.
Experience with any of the following tools/technologies - Frameworks (Struts or Spring or Hibernate); Databases (Oracle, MYSQL); Front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX) and Frameworks (AngularJS, jQuery, SASS); Process automation frameworks, ideally using an Activity based BPMN engine; Data transport XML/JSON; Back end technologies (SOAP and REST); GitLab and ELK
Strong knowledge in various Design Patterns
Excellent analysis and programming skills.
Experience in integrating, customizing and supporting commercial off-the-shelf software
Excellent time management, coordination, accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and working on an agile (scrum) methodology
