Your Role
Are you someone who wants to take your NetSuite development and administration career to the next level? As a SolarWinds Software Developer, you'll make a significant positive impact on the growth and sustainment of our company. Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable of SuiteScript (v.1.0/2.0) for new customizations as well as updates and modifications to existing scripts. Performs analysis of business processes to recommend scripted optimizations/improvements. Provides end to end management of customizations, including scoping, requirements gathering, solution architecture, development, testing and deployment.
Troubleshoots scripts, integrations, and workflows. Creates detailed user and technical documentation for new and existing customizations and writes unit and integration tests.
Primary Responsibilities
Helps define and deliver valuable, usable, and automatically testable user stories, including acceptance criteria.
Prior knowledge of either Agile or Kanban methodologies preferred. Participates in daily standup calls and confers with teams and stakeholders to ensure proper design and implementation of automated business processes.
Analyzes and proactively assists with customer issues resolution, root cause analysis and issue prevention.
Qualifications
3+ years' experience with NetSuite, with at least 3 years NetSuite development experience.
Demonstrates a willingness to work on several projects at once in a fast-paced environment and is self-motivated.
Takes initiative and can work independently, asking for help when needed.
Functionally proficient as a NetSuite user and able to advise users on ideal use cases for customizations vs native functionality.
Has experience calling external RESTful APIs with some exposure to other programming languages (C#, JavaScript, T-SQL, etc.).
Proven, hands-on experience optimizing the usability and functionality of the system.
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
Experience with NetSuite integrations a plus.
Performs platform integrity testing and system upgrades; develops and maintains workflows and business processes.
