Job Description
Track and deliver compliance to existing, supported security standards within Atmail (predominantly ISO 27001 and CIS benchmarks at present). This includes running regular audits, reporting and remediation of issues where possible, create issues and track resolution where other teams need to perform the remediation;
Assess security reports, looking to replicate as appropriate and determine the vulnerability sensitivity, risk and remediation priority;
Implement new security standards and initiatives as directed by the Director, Technology & Governance;
Propose new security initiatives and standards to the company and advise on any new trends in the industry;
Escalate complex and sensitive matters to the Director, Technology & Governance, bringing ideas and solutions to the table as part of the resolution process;
Build trusted partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to understand security requirements and expectations associated with their solution, and to enable appropriate security solutions to be engineered, implemented, and operated; and
Work within all legal and ethical boundaries that are either enforceable by law or that would be expected by staff, company policy or the wider community
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Demonstrated previous experience in a security role;
A total working experience of 10+ years, with at least 7 years in the field of Information Technology;
A minimum of 5 years' experience in hands-on technical roles;
A minimum of 2 years' experience in hands-on security roles;
Knowledge in information security architecture technologies and IT Security principles;
Knowledge of public cloud services and best practices for securely operating cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.);
Ability to work autonomously and as part of an agile team environment with strong communication and collaboration skills;
Experience with security automation tools like Cloudcheckr, Drata or similar;
Solid hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, PHP and/or Python or compiled languages such as Go, Java and/or C/C++.
Knowledge of networking protocols, software and components such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP, IMAP, TLS/SSL, switching/routing and firewalling;
Broad industry knowledge and experience, as it relates to software development, platform operations and security practices;
A Bachelor (or higher) degree in a technology field, or equivalent experience;
Shows a high level of initiative, is proactive, leads by example; and
Demonstrated strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify improvements, determine priorities, multi-task and effectively and efficiently meet strict
AWS certification is a plus
Work hours: Must be amenable to work on Night shift
Work location: Temporary Homebased (Should have a strong internet connection (minimum of 10 MBPS) and must be ready to work in Eastwood site
