Job Description:
The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for managing all technical aspects of the salesforce platform including configuration, customization, integrations, implementation of third-party applications, and testing of solutions.
Advise and facilitate application development activities in line with established company guidelines and industry best practice.
Daily administration and support of the Salesforce database including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles, roles, customization of object fields, record types, page layouts, validations, and workflows.
Fix defects and liaise with Salesforce technical support.
Troubleshoot, categorize, resolve and track system errors.
Handle regular support activities and urgent changes whilst keeping long-term objectives on track.
Engage with business stakeholders to develop, enhance, and debug Salesforce.
Provide constant support, recommendations, and solutions that consider options including configuration, coding, third party-apps, and integration.
Requirements:
Technical competencies
Development of Salesforce objects including:
a- Visualforce pages, APEX classes and triggers.
b: Community/portal development, lighting components, workflows
c: Data Loader, Business process builder, and admin level configuration.
Development of SF web services and integrating with external APIs/RESTful/SOAP and integration with 3rd party systems mainly SAP.
Design and build of business reports and dashboards.
Strong technical knowledge of shared objects between Salesforce and ServiceMax
Expertise in B2B sales marketing, CRM and automation and web principles, with a strong appreciation for interdependencies and overlapping functions.
Model business data ad processes to create new user interfaces.
Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML/CSS and XML
Qualifications and Experience
5+ years of SF Development experience including at least 1 year in ServiceMax within a similar work environment is desirable.
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer is mandatory
Salesforce Certified Administrator is also preferred.
