Senior Revenue Accountant- PH

To complement our rapid growth, we are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant with an active CPA, based in our Philippines office. The person in this role should be a strong communicator who is able to work effectively with peers and management alike in a high-paced environment. The ideal candidate is someone who has accounting, strong technical accounting experience and can respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically.
Location: Mandaluyong, Philippines (remote until safe to return to office)
Responsibilities:
Assist on sales Contract review and assessment.
Primary responsibility includes COGS Accounting and Gross Margin Analysis
Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standards
Prepare deal/contract summaries for material completed transactions
Prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basis.
Assist with financial audits including reconciliations, support documentation, and communication with external auditors
Assist with month end and quarter end close activities
Work closely with Sales Operations, Customer Support, and Collection team as needed to obtain information necessary to analyze and reconcile customer accounts.
Assist with managing and resolving Billing and Revenue Customer issues.
Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements, including SOX related process improvements and access controls.
Support and participate in revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycle related projects.
Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Finance or related field, minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance,
Advanced Excel Skills required.
CPA Required, Big 4/Public Accounting experience, Senior or Manger level.
Revenue Recognition experience including adoption of ASC 606, US GAAP, IFRS
Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
Must have solid verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
