Job Summary: Senior Revenue Accountant(s) will Prepare Reconciliation(s) of Daily Activities which can Include Downloading of Various Report(s), Performing SOX Documentation(s), and Reconciling Various Report(s) to Third-Party Reporting. You will Prepare Daily Cash Entries for Servicing Bank Account(s), Process Large Amount(s) of Data, Map Transaction(s) to Proper General Ledger Account(s), Reconcile Balance(s), and Upload NetSuite Automated JE. You will also work with General Ledger (GL) Team to Prepare and Maintain Monthly Operating Account Schedule(s) and Prepare Various Rebate Tracker(s) for Accrued Rebate(s) and Payout(s) while Identifying Process Improvement(s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare Reconciliation(s) of Daily Activities for the Card Portfolio with $1B+ of Monthly Volume - this will Include Downloading Various Report(s), Performing SOX Documentation(s), and Reconciling Various Report(s) with Third-Party Reporting (Investigate and Resolve Variance(s))
Prepare Daily Cash Entries for Card Servicing Bank Account(s) - this will Include Processing Large Data, Mapping Transaction(s) to Proper General Ledger (GL) Account(s), Reconciling Balance, and Uploading NetSuite Automated Journal Entries
Calculate Late Fee Charge(s) Based on the Company Policy Including Downloading and Reconciling Various Report(s), Sanity Check(s), and Communication with Other Key Stakeholder(s), Assist in Month-End Close Revenue Task(s) such as Files Preparation and Update, Procedure Documentation and Preparation of Journal Entries, Help Prepare Data and Other Support Information Request(s)
Prepare Various Rebate Tracker(s) for Accrued Rebate(s) and Payout(s) while Identifying Process Improvement(s), Verifying and Preparing the Revenue Arrangement Plan(s) for Open Revenue Plan(s) and Sales Order(s), Coordinate and Partner with the General Ledger (GL) Team to Prepare and Maintain the Monthly Operating Account Schedule(s)
Assist in Monthly Journal Entries and Account Reconciliation(s) in Area(s) Including But Not Limited To: Deferred Revenue, Uncollected Revenue, Cash, Refund(s), and Rebate(s)
Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 2-3 Year(s) of Related Experience - Good Knowledge and Hands-On Experience Working with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principle(s)) Revenue Recognition and Receivable(s) Accounting Standard(s) (ASC 606 and ASC 310)
Strong Microsoft Excel Skills with Knowledge on Advanced Formula(s) such as LOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and PIVOT TABLE, Ability to Work with a Diverse Workload while Ensuring Accuracy and Excellent Problem Solving Skills, Extreme Attention to Detail(s)
Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Detail Oriented (Attention to Detail), Self-Starter and Deadline-Driven to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
