Senior QA Engineer (Automation) General Requirements:
Min 3+ years of experience in Test Automation of APIs and microservices
· Experience in scripting for automation - using Shell/Python, etc
· Experience with building automation framework for API/Web
· Experience in test delivery in a Agile model with focus on in sprint automation
· Solid understanding of RESTful web services and microservice architecture
· Strong hands-on experience with automation of APIs using SOAPUI/Rest Assured or other API automation frameworks
· Strong in validation content from XML, data bases and flat files using scripts
· Strong knowledge of Database and SQL queries for data validation
· Solid understanding of test process: requirement analysis, test scenario design, test case creation, test scripting and status reporting to stakeholders for testing services
· Experience working with Jenkins to build CI/CD pipeline
Secondary Skill Set:
· Atlassian tools knowledge - JIRA, Confluence
· Strong with communication (verbal and written)
· Team player
· Support to the client during UAT and Development.
· Coordinating with Client team for Integration testing between application and board
· Test cases writing, Bug reporting
· Work closely with the client and get all the details of the workflows defined and the APIS present and build the AUTOMATED scripts accordingly.
Mobile QA:
Experience testing complex multi-tiered Mobile App based systems and complex data-driven applications
Identify, plan and execute testing activities in Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high quality software delivered.
Experience on testing Web Applications, Mobile applications testing, Mobile devices/handset testing and devices/product testing.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases and test summaries.
Design and execute manual and automated test cases/scripts using Appium Automation Tool.
Define, maintain and organize input and output data.
Communicate QA risks, milestones, and status to the Scrum Master, QA lead or Project Manager.
Review and verify functional and system requirements to ensure project deliverables pass QA criteria. Provide work estimates for testing activities.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of QA test environment and tools.
Collect and report on quality statistics and metrics.
Record and monitor discovered defects and QA related issues.
Participate in quality related discussions.
Onshore /Offshore Coordination
Promote continuous improvement.
Improve test cycle during Sprints through the use of testing tools.
Test Management tool proficiency on ALM, JIRA, Confluence.
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external Clients; ability to effectively work with any coworker within the team or division;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Selenium, Appium, Jmeter experience required
