WHAT IS A/AN SENIOR QA Our awesome client, a leading/start-up Financial Technology company based in Australia is looking for a/an Senior QA to be part of their QA team. We are looking for an accomplished QA to contribute to the quality delivery of technology platform and applications. Working as part of an agile team, you will collaborate with your product manager and fellow engineering team members to deliver product outcomes for our customers. You will be responsible for applying QA practices to improve the customer experience and deliver high-quality software and coach other team members to do the same. In addition, we are in the process of furthering our adoption of a microservices style architecture and are looking for experienced QAs to contribute to this transition. WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Contribute to writing Acceptance Criteria for User Stories Create and execute test scripts and test cases based on User Stories / Requirements. Document and communicate test reports and outcomes appropriately to all the concerned stakeholders. Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint review and retrospective Perform test on Web, API, Mobile Devices for native IOS and Android app Collaborate with developers and other stake holders to reproduce any issue reported by end user. Reporting and Tracking Defects using VSTS or any equivalent test management tool. Work as part of an Agile project team - extensive collaboration required with Product Manager, other QAs, and software developers. Research new technologies and, when appropriate, promote their adoption Strive to develop yourself professionally by broadening your contribution and experience Develop and contribute to test automation framework across Web, Mobile and API Applications and technologies WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR Experienced in testing web-based applications Good understanding of Quality Assurance and SDLC concepts, processes and procedures. Experience in developing API automation tests (SOAP/REST) using POSTMAN or any other opensource tool including scripting Experience developing and executing test cases for CMS / eCommerce platforms in one or more of these platforms - Magento, Salesforce, WooCommerce, Shopify, Hybris, BigCommerce, etc. Experience testing UI/UX for responsiveness across different devices and browsers Write SQL Queries to validate Tests at database level Experience in test automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, JMeter etc.) and Frameworks (Espresso, XUnit etc.) (desirable) Experience testing Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems (desirable) Requirements At least 5 years commercial experience in a QA role A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience Experience working within agile product teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills
