Senior QA Analyst for Management Approval Systems
This initiative has the following solution scope: i) Digitize project approval process through simplified workflow, digital memos, and coversheets, ii) Extend the service to additional documents (e.g. Project-related Change Request, RRP, etc and Non-project related documents), iii) By incorporating digital signature, build extendibility for non-project approval processes and iv) Accessibility of the approval system through mobile devices. 
OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE:
The purpose of this document is to define a statement of work requirements for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support the Management Approval System (MAS) project. The Senior QA Analyst will play a key role in ensuring that the MAS is at par with the organization's application standard through series of tests, analysis, and documentation.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The QA Analyst will work with the Sprint (Release) Team including the designated Account Lead and Business Analyst within the MAS.
 Specifically, the QA Analyst is responsible for the following:
Understand functional requirements/user stories and integration requirements, if required.
Review test scenarios and test execution plans provide comments and propose adjustments.
Coordinate with Sprint Team and ITD teams on setting up test environments and tester access.
Participates in all sprint activities including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Liaise with the QA Lead to understand the QA process and the company's standards around testing
Review test cases (system, integration, non-functional, UAT) and familiarise with the JIRA test tracking tool.
Work closely and flexibly with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Planner to meet targets.
Work with business owners to prepare test data for the various systems.
Validate in consultation with Business Analysts that the test scenarios are aligned, mapped, and have traceability with the business, functional, non-functional, and integration requirements
Execute test cases in accordance with the test execution plan and update test results accurately and clearly in JIRA.
Attend Test Manager and Defect Triage meetings and contribute to the swift remedy and retest of defects.
Monitor and review results of System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, and User Acceptance test ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
Publish test reports to summarize the outcome of testing daily.
Ensure that all test cases and test results are documented in Jira and follow up with vendors and existing system owners on the progress of testing, test results, and fixes
REPORTING LINE:
The Senior QA Analyst reports to Scrum Master when assigned to the project.
Engagement Duration
The Senior QA Analyst will be engaged in this requirement for six (6) months. Engagement is subject to performance review when assigned to the project.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology/ Management. Professional qualification or experience in Testing would be an advantage.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Test Analyst in a project team environment delivering integrated systems.
Work experience in a banking environment is desirable.
Working experience of test management tools including automation tool, defect tracking tool (Jira)
Must possess a solid understanding of the Agile Methodology and Software Development Lifecycle.
Excellent written and oral communication and technical documentation skills in English
Strong collaborator with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline intensive environment
Self-motivated and with strong organizational skills
Must have the ability to understand and relate to new products, technology, or strategy and be able to follow directions
