Roles and Responsibilities Designing and implementing Test Automation Strategy Responsible for eliciting, writing, executing, and maintaining automation testing Develop, deploy, and maintain test automation scripts for functional regression testing and load testing, and integration testing Implementing new processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance standards Cross Browser Testing (Executing test cases against various browsers like Firefox, Google, chrome, Edge and Safari, etc ) Collaborates with other QA Testers and Business Analysts for knowledge sharing and developing best practices and standards Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans Document defects using the project's defect management tools Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process Actively participate in the Scrum ceremonies with your team and collaborate to support release planning, estimation, and delivery processes using Agile methodologies Required Experience With more than 3 years of experience in Automation testing With more than 3 years of experience in the Quality Assurance field with Manual Testing Experience with API black box testing using tools such as SoapUI, Postman, Jasmine, Cucumber, etc Experience with Selenium, Java, WebDriver, and TestNG frameworks Experience with Mobile testing using Appium or comparable technologies Minimum Qualifications BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Industry certifications desirable TMap, ISEB, ISTQB certification desirable A Successful Candidate must have Attention to detail skills Customer-focused ability Strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure Specialised Knowledge and skills AGILE methodology skills UI/UX Design Principles Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD) experience Written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Quality Standards and Fundamentals Ability to work as part of a team Able to build automation framework from scratch Highly skilled in automation scripting design Ability to show excellent skills in maintaining and scaling a fully functional framework Ability to elicit business requirements in order to write and develop functionally impactful automated tests Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle Well-developed technical testing skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with business and technical personnel and work effectively in a team environment of the testing process Proficient with Jira Zendesk Zephyr / Xray or any related testing management tool Postman or any related API testing tools Cypress Ghost Inspector Selenium for web Rapid7 Perks Free barista-style coffee Immediate start Free parking and jeepney services Highly engaged team Unlimited potential for growth Challenging role Fun and family-oriented working environment
