-Own the testing strategy (including automated and manual testing) for product features or areas
-to ensure compliance with functional, performance, and reliability requirements
-Write automation tests against client's SaaS web applications
-Carry out manual per-sprint and per-release testing
-Map requirements to functional tests and design tests to exercise all parts of the software
-Working with the development team, lead the effort to define automated tests that verify
-functionality and performance requirements
-Triage bugs found in testing and establish and communicate the severity of bugs
-Document and present results of tests to the team leads
Requirements
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from a top technical university or strong industry experience
-5+ years experience with QA methodologies and web software testing
-Ability to develop automation tests in Java, Groovy or Javascript
-Ability to design test cases and find creative ways to exercise all parts of the software to find issues
-Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or equivalent
-Understanding of web technologies, HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS etc
-Ability to write SQL code and some understanding of relational databases
-Experience using tools such as JIRA and familiarity with the software development lifecycle
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Demonstrated ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones
