Roles and Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing Test Automation Strategy
- Responsible for eliciting, writing, executing, and maintaining automation testing
- Develop, deploy, and maintain test automation scripts for functional regression testing and load testing, and integration testing
- Implementing new processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance standards
- Cross Browser Testing (Executing test cases against various browsers like Firefox, Google, chrome, Edge and Safari, etc…)
- Collaborates with other QA Testers and Business Analysts for knowledge sharing and developing best practices and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company
- Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans
- Document defects using the project's defect management tools
- Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
- Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process
- Actively participate in the Scrum ceremonies with your team and collaborate to support release planning, estimation, and delivery processes using Agile methodologies
Required Experience
- With more than 3 years of experience in Automation testing
- With more than 3 years of experience in the Quality Assurance field with Manual Testing
- Experience with API black box testing using tools such as SoapUI, Postman, Jasmine, Cucumber, etc
- Experience with Selenium, Java, WebDriver, and TestNG frameworks
- Experience with Mobile testing using Appium or comparable technologies
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Industry certifications desirable
- TMap, ISEB, ISTQB certification desirable
