As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working with project champions and other business stakeholders to establish the direction and high-level specifications for various projects. Your job is to initiate and lead the technical aspects of project implementation, up to deployment and monitoring.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead in the creation and maintenance of high-traffic, highly-converting web pages and applications
Lead the assigned development project team as a servant leader, helping everyone become excellent performers through continuous mentorship, support, and training
Collaborate with the marketing team on delivery of emailing needs, leading in the technical implementation of automated emailing projects, while employing best practices to maximize deliverability, usability, and conversions
Monitor and report on the progress of assigned projects and initiatives
Work with team to continuously look for website improvements in terms of user experience, loading times, as well as other key website metrics
Enforce good practices in maintaining the company's code base (including but not limited to the performance of cleanup tasks for old and unused code)
Advocate for development and dissemination of process improvement initiatives
Promote company values such as ensuring consistency of equality, proactiveness, objectivity (through data-driven decisions), and critical thinking
Champion sound documentation practices among team members.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who is a generalist, with broad knowledge of different aspects of web and software project management.
Required knowledge and experience
Leading web and mobile application projects
Version control systems (Github, Bitbucket, etc)
Web and usability standards
Modern website architecture, responsive design, and server-side architecture
A/B testing and experimentation
Knowledge of the following is a plus:
Information architecture, new design trends, SEM, SEO, content diversification, and social media
Optimizely, VWO, CrazyEgg, or other conversion rate optimization software
Google Analytics
Google Webmasters tool
