Job Description:
Senior Project Engineer leads and manages complex engineering projects from conception to completion. They are experts in project planning, coordination, and technical execution and will ensure successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints. In this leadership role, they collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
· Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project objectives, scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables.
· Lead and guide a team of engineers and technical staff, delegating tasks and providing technical expertise and support.
· Participate in the design and engineering process, reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
· Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocations. Identify cost-saving measures and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
· Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
· Liaise with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
· Provide regular status updates and progress reports to office management and project stakeholders.
· Ensure project compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
· Maintain accurate project documentation, including design changes, technical reports, and project records.
Skills and Specifications Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
· Proven experience in engineering project management, with a focus on complex and large-scale projects.
· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of professionals.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders, team members, and clients effectively.
· Proficiency in project management tools and software for scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
· In-depth technical knowledge and expertise related to the specific engineering field (Construction of Power Substation is advantage).
· Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to address project challenges and make strategic decisions.
Education and Qualification:
· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/ College Degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE)
· Male with at least 3 years as Senior Project Engineer.
· Keen on details, highly analytical, resourceful, and proactive.
· Preferably with Valid driver's license.
