Basic Job Requirements
This position is a senior and critical role. The Senior Project Director position is a complex role that requires excellent project execution experience, strong client relationship-building skills, good leadership skills, and the ability to influence. The successful candidate must be able to operate and lead in a process-driven environment and within a highly matrixed organization. The candidate shall have strong project management experience and competencies, be fluent in English, have a good understanding of cultural diversity and will be an experienced business leader with a strong record of driving project performance. The successful candidate shall have successfully delivered major projects, with practical knowledge of the full project lifecycle, from capture and qualification through to implementation. Equally, he/she shall be able to demonstrate the ability to build a commercially focused culture that improves project performance.
Candidate is to have an accredited 4 (four) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and significant years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience years if non-degreed. Ideally the candidate will have significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with demonstrable domestic and international Project Management experience, including lump sum EPC projects. This must include field execution leadership with a demonstrated command of construction safety programs.

The candidate shall demonstrate excellence and experience in the following areas:
. Accomplished successful execution of one of the following types of projects:
o Project manager with ultimate responsibility to deliver a large lump sum EPC project, or
o Area project manager on a complex billion-dollar EPC project with delegated responsibility for a sub-project
. Able to demonstrate field construction and home office experience
o A significant field assignment including direct-hire construction or construction management experience
o Experience with brownfield projects and the different challenges associated with tying into existing facilities
. Domestic and international project execution experience
. Experience in minimum two of the following elements:
o Global distributed execution / work share
o Complex contract / commercial terms
o Successful completion of more than one project commercial structure (reimbursable, lump sum, G-max, incentive based, etc.)
