We urgently need:
 
Sr PHP Developer 
 
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and customize themes, extensions -- both in-house, purchased and publicly available
Manage and maintain different codebases which most of the time cover different frameworks and platforms
Liaise with counterparts and project managers in the United States
Perform unit tests, stress tests and use cases against the platform as needed
Qualifications:
4 years or more solid development experience in object-oriented PHP, up to the latest version (PHP 7), preferably with previous projects and experience on e-commerce systems
2 years or more solid development experience on Magento 2, specifically backend development, and including module, connector and theme development
Solid work experience with transactional MySQL, including views, stored procedures, triggers and events
Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript libraries such as jQuery, Bootstrap, Knockout
Magento Developer certification desired but no necessary
Ability to read and understand existing codes written by others, and ability to write code that is understandable even without written comments
Be able to work using standardized development tools, virtual development environment such as Vagrant, or containerized development environment such as Docker
Be able to work on Linux systems and desktops, and is very comfortable working on the shell
Solid understanding of user interface design principles
Solid and thorough understanding of service-oriented architectures and web services, including posting and parsing of XML documents, SOAP calls and JSON flat files
Experience with versioning tools such Git and/or SVN, project management tools such as Jira and Pivotal, and collaboration tools such Confluence and Basecamp
Experience with working with cloud services and servers, such as Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills
Passion for writing DRY, efficient, clean and effective codes
Possess a good command of oral and written English skills (you will be interacting with clients from the United States)
MUST be willing to work on-site and night shifts; this job offer is for full-time employment in Cebu City, and NOT a home-based job
