SENIOR PHP DEVELOPER
 
Job Overview:
 
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Senior PHP Developer to join our development team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who values sound engineering practices, takes pride in writing well-structured and maintainable code, and demonstrates the discipline required to work effectively with established systems while contributing to their continued improvement.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, maintain, and debug web applications using PHP, SQL, and JavaScript
Read, understand, and work within existing codebases to diagnose issues and implement stable, well-considered solutions
Collaborate with development teams in the Philippines and the U.S., using Git/GitLab while following established version control and branching standards
Participate in CI/CD workflows utilizing Docker-based environments
Ensure code quality, performance, security, and reliability across supported systems
Required Qualifications
Proven professional experience in web development using PHP, SQL, and JavaScript
Hands-on experience with Git/GitLab and Docker, particularly in relation to CI/CD pipelines
Strong ability to read, analyze, and debug existing and legacy applications
Solid problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical approach to development and troubleshooting
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications
 
While not required, the following experience would be advantageous:
Experience working with the Symfony PHP framework for building web applications
Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Python and Perl
Experience configuring and maintaining web hosting environments using Nginx or Apache
