JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Associate for Payroll and Benefits, together with the HR & Admin Services team, will be responsible for timekeeping, payroll and benefits administration.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific duties are as follows:
· Oversee validation process of the timekeeping file and requests for overtime
· Prepare payroll instructions file and coordinate with Meralco and Finance on pay-out
· Ensure accurate processing of government-mandated benefits (SSS, Philhealth and Pag-Ibig) and act as liaison to these government agencies if needed
· Prepare BIR Alphalist and required forms annually
· Ensure compliance to government requirements
· Maintain accurate and updated databases on payroll and benefits administered
· Prepare reports on payroll and benefits, as needed
· Answer employee queries on salary and benefits
· Suggest process and performance improvements to the payroll and benefits administration
· Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
(Degree, licensure, & certification)
· Graduate of Psychology or any Business or Finance course
Experience
· At least 3-5 years experience in payroll and benefits administration
· Experience in handling government-mandated benefits administration
· Experience in HR process engineering
· Experience in policy creation and documentation
· Experience in setting up an HR information system
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
· Superior ability in using excel
· Analytical, conscientious, and detail-oriented
· Able to work under pressure and within set deadlines
· Able to create powerpoint presentations and other reports
