SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER
 
Job Purpose:
The SOM is accountable for the profitable achievement of sales objectives associated with the assigned territory and sales team managed. SOM is responsible for assigned team’s sales productivity, and directs their effort in order to have the greatest overall impact on company results. The SOM manages all aspects of running an efficient sales team, including hiring, supervising, coaching, disciplining, monitoring of collections and accounts receivables, and motivating direct-report sales connections.
 
Goals and Objectives:
1. Achieve territorial targets in sales volume and channel development.
2. Grow the business in the assigned territory.
3. Provide leadership, motivation, direction and coordination to FSS, MAS, BDOs, Broadband and Merchandising Group through proper planning and coaching.
4. Maintain and develop the skills of each staff for possible promotions.
5. Manage cash collections and receivables.
 
Reporting Relationships: Includes the title of the position to which the incumbent reports, and also includes the titles of jobs reporting to it.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Overall in-charge in the business operation and distribution of Globe products in in the assigned territory.
2. Directly reporting to the Sales & Operations Director and to our principal’s assigned Area Sales Head.
3. Ensures growth and development of transacting retailers in the area.
4. Ensures smooth operation of various processes which contribute to the success of the
whole territory.
5. Formulates sales strategies, plans and programs, and uses in-depth market knowledge through trade feedback, sound business principles, analysis of the competitive landscape, and regular consultation with SOD/ASH in order to achieve company objectives.
6. Ensures that company’s KPIs are met and achieved thru:
a. Actively monitoring Sales Performance of each channel – sellout and activations.
b. And, Channel Development
c. Project Executions
d. Broadband Installations/Activations
e. Collections
7. Responsible for market development activities.
a. Lead the planning and implementation of programs/promos meetings or other customer forum held in the assigned territory.
b. Ensures that direct to subscriber programs are properly implemented by third party agents assigned in different territories.
8. Do a frequent market feedback on products and services, competition and market conditions.
9. Develop and maintain territory specific information relative to competitors and distributors in the market.
10. Conduct a regular monitoring of product inventory and supplies including projects.
11. Actively probe new accounts and refer leads to the appropriate sales representative.
12. Generate ideas that contribute to territory, business unit, company mission and profitability.
13. Communicates/Coordinates with other Department Heads on the new leads and concerns.
14. Ensures that standard Globe procedures/COC are being followed by your team and third party agents and properly executes the agreed terms and conditions.
