KRESK CONTRACTORS ASIA INC. (KRESKCON) is a Cebu-based specialty contractor for Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MPF) Systems.
We are currently looking for full-time:
 
SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER (CONSTRUCTION)
 
With the following RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for leading the design, analysis, and coordination of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various projects.
Lead and oversee mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection (MPF) engineering projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, budget, and schedule.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders such as architects, contractors, and clients.
Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines
Collaborate with other disciplines (e.g., structural, electrical) to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Coordinate and review the work of external consultants, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project.
Perform site visits to monitor construction progress, assess system installations, and ensure quality control.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during construction and commissioning phases.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering aspects.
Provide technical presentations and reports to clients, offering solutions and addressing concerns.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
Lead design review meetings, offering expertise and recommendations to improve system performance and safety.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer
Preferably at least 5 years of experience specialized in Engineering Specialty Contracts/ Mechanical Engineering/Construction or equivalent.
Applicant should be responsible, dynamic, proactive, and results oriented
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection codes and standards
Should have the expertise to estimate MPF system requirements early in the project planning phase
Excellent project management and leadership skills
Good manpower supervision
Proficiency of CAD/ BIM Software is a plus
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Willing to be relocated temporarily for projects outside Cebu
