The Senior Manager, Real Estate & Facilities, Manila and Australia, and New Zealand, will oversee our office location in Manila as well as support approximately six locations in Australia and New Zealand and three small service offices in China.
You will be working alongside the Site Leader of our Philippines office, this role will manage office staff and facilities operations of a dynamic Manila office supporting over 500 employees. Reporting into the VP of Real Estate and Facilities based in the US office, the Senior Manager will oversee daily facility operations and maintenance, manage staff and vendors, coordinate on-site events and meetings, manage budgets and contracts, monitor health, safety and security, and administer to Manila and all facilities within the Australia and New Zealand regions.
What You'll Do: In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Direct activities related to workplace management and inspection, hospitality and reception management
Lead office upkeep, operations and maintenance
Sustainability and wellness programs, including Covid19 health and safety planning
Health, safety and security compliance and management within designated offices
Manage four person team in Manila and one person in Sydney; ensures timely communication to all team members
Manage site-wide communication for staff on matters that relate to facilities management
Oversee the management of supplies, food and beverage
Recommend, monitor and maintain budgets and operational expenses
Ensure that processes on mail, courier services and deliveries are carried out timely and appropriately
Vendor management for all office operations related services
Parking and transportation management
Monitor leases and licenses and recommend appropriate action for renewal
Oversee and direct planning and capital projects
Source and recommend venues for company meetings and events
You've been there and done this...
Bachelor's degree or 10-12 years' work experience in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering, or related qualifications such as project management, business management, or construction management
Working knowledge of principles and practices of project management
Working knowledge of financial principles and practices
Working knowledge of human resources management principles and practices
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems
Working knowledge of procurement and contracts
Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
Experience in construction, maintenance, and all facets of facility operation
Solid computer and systems knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
People management experience
