Job Overview
Loan Processing Admin is responsible for completing quality assurance on file opening and preparing loan documentation according to client instructions, ensuring a high degree of accuracy, within the Service Level Agreement timeframes.
Responsibilities
File Maintenance/Data Quality Assurance
Compare client instructions to supporting documentation, including identification documents, contracts and title searches, provided by the client to ensure consistency of data.
Complete quality assurance on custom fields prior to beginning loan document preparation (custom fields are used to populate the loan documentation).
Take into consideration any notes provided by the instructing Mortgage Clerk (Australia) before querying any discrepancies.
Once instructions and custom fields are considered to be accurate, proceed to preparing loan documentation.
Loan documentation
Prepare loan documentation including but not limited to the Loan Agreement, Letter of Offer, Direction and Authority and Mortgage of Land.
Complete self-quality assurance on loan documentation and send to the Mortgage Team Leader (Australia) for further quality assurance to be completed before loan documents are issued.
Correspondence (if required, as directed)
Issue approved loan documentation to relevant distribution lists/third parties via email.
Send emails to follow up return of loan documentation with third parties per task list on Matter Centre.
File correspondence and general reporting on Matter Centre.
Accounts (if required, as directed)
Add time entries and cost recoveries to files on Practice Evolve according to statement of adjustments.
Prepare client invoices and file to matters.
Prepare trust to office transfer form on file and send to Accounts Clerk (Australia) for processing.
Qualifications
Must have 2+ years of AU Loan Processing experience
Required to be proficient on MS Word and Excel
Strong written and verbal English proficiency
Must have the ability to work as part of a team.
Able to work in any EMAPTA office
