Company Profile: Our client is a startup Hong Kong-headquartered company that has built an innovative 3rd Party Administrative platform that allows employers and employees to access and pay for healthcare services from an unrestricted network of healthcare providers. Companies using their platform are able to dramatically reduce costs while also funding their employee benefit plans where it makes sense. They are one of the pioneers in the market and they are looking to establish their pioneering team of IT professionals here in the Philippines. They are currently in search for a passionate, skillful, and self-motivated Senior Lead Developer who possesses exemplary technical, communication, and people management skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Co-own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap covering the full product development lifecycle Actively participate in detailed programming and coding in coordination with IT team members (internal and external) Hands-on type person able to engage in detailed programming and program maintenance when required full-stack development skills preferred to facilitate engagement at any level of the development process Assure that all products maintain the highest level of compliance in terms of data privacy and data security Drive new products and product changes iteratively and continuously together with the Sales, Customer Success and Development teams Actively manage and contribute to the agile ceremonies and ensure the product requirements are clear and well understood by designers and engineers Ensure the features and user experience are tested together with clients to gain early insights and to assure product readiness before rollout (e.g., with UX or end user testing) Support all key KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and provide relevant product measurements and metrics to meet overall business goals Ensure product quality and compliance including non-functional requirements (i.e., product stability, performance aspects) Assist with contract negotiations and relationship management with third-party vendors in accordance with the specific data consumption needs Take the initiative to grow the product team in tandem with the company's own growth objectives Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, and other related field 5+ years of overall software development experience Experience in people management At least 2 years of front-end development experience especially with HTML/CSS/JS/Tailwind CSS/Svelte3 At least 2 years of back-end development experience especially with Java, Servlet programming, and Apache Tomcat Knowledge of common software development design patterns Experience with UML: requirement analysis, software architecture planning A natural curiosity and solution-oriented team mentality Understanding of human-centered design in delivering a best-in-class client experience Experience in setting and delivering outcome-focused goals such as using OKRs Team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality A true Agile mindset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills The ability to translate business requirements into an effective feature design at the code level Ability to work independently with integrity and minimal guidance Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and virtual teams.
