The self-motivated person who fills this position will be joining and contributing to a dynamic and determined team that will be assisting a local Northern California public sector client to successfully transform how they provide services to their respective clients. This digital transformation initiative will involve close collaboration with the client to architect, design, and develop a secure, user-centric, and mission-critical solution that will involve multiple teams that are organized to meet the client's needs through a fast-paced agile development approach. This initiative will have a lasting positive impact on enhancing the citizen experience. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in different groups to help in the development of this solution. This critical client initiative must integrate several complex components using modern and diverse technologies. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Work with business analysts to define user stories and translate into technical specifications and designs . Perform analysis, design, estimation, development and test activities associated with the delivery of system changes and enhancements . Identify service and system improvements for the existing system . Working with functional team in gaining domain knowledge and in-depth understanding of client functional requirements so that can work on implementation requirements and support client banks . Able to resolve Simple to Medium technical issues Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Must have BS Degree with 5+ years experience/knowledge of the following: Java/J2EE (hands-on experience writing Java code is highly desired) Angular/AngularJS HTML/HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js . JDK Tools 1.8 and above . Putty Suite, Linux . Experience (2+ years) in Agile development . Experience (1+ years) in development of SOAP/REST based Web Services . Some experience (1+ years) of Cloud Computing technology (AWS, Azure, or similar) . Ability to work independently and conduct self-directed research if needed . Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles . Knowledge of Rest API development using Spring and Spring boot framework . Understanding of data structures, algorithms and the Java collections framework . Sound knowledge of concepts like exception handling, garbage collection, and generics . Experience writing JUnit test cases - using any unit test framework . Experience with IDE's such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans, etc. Skill Set/Years of Experience: Supporting Batch Processes - 4+ Years Triage and Defect Management - 4+ Years Maintaining Online Procedures - 4+ Years Requirements Development - 3+ Years Experience with Webservices and Interfaces - 2+ Years Agile Development - 2+ Years DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED .
