JOB DESCRIPTION
This is an opportunity for an Associate to join the Third Party Oversight team which is part of the wider Global Investment Operations group.
The successful candidate will join a team of seven whose primary responsibility is oversight of the key service provider relationships of both the internal funds business and delegated client base.
The role will involve review and checking of the funds NAV production and responsibilities associated with ensuing accuracy of administrator processes as well as ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements of the funds. The role is suited to an individual who has experience within a fund account or NAV production team or similar role, a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude to change and who is able to build internal and external relationships with key stakeholder
The Roles
More specifically, the role would entail the following:
• Day to day support for the daily tasks which include checking and reviewing the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly NAV production of all the funds and assisting with queries.
• Support the oversight of our service providers by working with the team to resolve issues and help improve the service. Making sure issues are recorded accurately and escalating where appropriate to both internal and external stakeholders through to resolution.
• Assist or potentially lead ad hoc projects the team must deliver.
• Ensuring deliverables are managed to deadlines and in accordance with SLA’s. Be able to communicate clearly to the management teams about progress, issues and outcomes.
• Support our delegated clients by assisting our Custody area of specialist knowledge
• Help production of MI reporting and trend analysis for senior management
• Ensure deliverables are managed to deadline and in accordance with SLA’s. Be able to communicate clearly to the management teams about progress, issues and outcomes
JOB QUALIFICATION
• Have detailed knowledge of Fund Accounting and NAV production
• Want to progress through diligence, flexibility and being a strong team player.
• Ability to communicate with others in more senior roles and other departments.
• Have an interest in taking their own qualifications further with the IMC, CISI, or Securities Institute qualifications.
• Good working practices to manage delivery in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
• Team player, with the ability to fit seamlessly into wider group of associates all focused on delivering work of exceptional quality.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) are a benefit.
• Previous exposure to managing third-party service providers would be beneficial but not essential
