What will you do?
The Senior People & Culture Generalist performs duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: Employee Relations, Engagement and Retention, Performance Management, On-boarding/Off-boarding, Learning and Development, and HRIS functions. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organisation. The role must be sensitive to organisational needs, employee goodwill, and business needs.
Key Tasks and Accountabilities
Business Partnership
Build strong, trusted, and influential relationships with the stakeholders - employees, department head, people manager, and colleagues;
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation and consults with management when appropriate;
Assess and anticipate human resources-related needs of clients and employees;
Employee Relations, Engagement, and Retention
Provides appropriate feedback and resolution to employee concerns promptly;
Assist with processing employee grievances;
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention;
Conducts regular touch-base with employees through meetings, regular check-ins, FGDs;
Initiates and drives employee engagement, rewards, and recognition;
Work with leaders and employees to provide guidance/assistance in any HR-related issues;
Performance Management
Facilitate timely communication, execution, and completion of the performance evaluation process for probationary employees and annual appraisals;
Oversees and reviews the Employee movement documentation to validate the accuracy of records and employees are updated on their new movements and/or status within the organization;
Oversee and review Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) discussions and documentation;
Onboarding, Offboarding, and HR Data Management
Facilitate timely communication, execution, and completion of the performance evaluation process for probationary employees and annual appraisals;
Oversees and reviews the Employee movement documentation to validate the accuracy of records and employees are updated on their new movements and/or status within the organization;
Oversee and review Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) discussions and documentation;
Learning and Development
Identify future leaders and run the required programs and training initiatives to help the leaders succeed;
Identify training needs for business units and individual training needs;
Participates in the evaluation and monitoring of the success of training programs. Follows-up to ensure training objectives are met;
Assist with scheduling and coordination of in-house and off-site training;
Prepare, collate and analyze training-related surveys;
Performs other ad hoc activities as necessary and as prescribed by the Immediate Manager or Authorized Representative.
What we're looking for?
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and/or related field
2+ years experience as a Senior HR Generalist or equivalent
Thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, and knowledge of Labour Law and other relevant government regulations relating around HR practices is a must
Specialization in Training and Development is a plus
Prior tech industry experience is a plus
