About the teamHR focuses on attracting, hiring, and developing our employees - cultivating a global workforce which is diverse in representation and thought, and is inspired to do their best work.About the roleAs Senior HR Associate you are responsible to ensure human resource policies, programs, and procedures are developed and implemented in accordance with relevant legislation and best practices within France, UK, and Portugal, under the supervision of the Local HRBP. You are also responsible for payroll administration within those 3 countries, inclusive of global payroll for our contractors through our providers' tools. You will be based in Paris (France) or in Lisbon (Portugal), with international daily exposure as part of the Global HR team. What will you do
Work closely with local payroll partners and Finance team to update internal payroll databases and ensure timely payments for France, UK, and Portugal employees, as well as Global contractors (with particular focus on payroll compliance, benefits, taxes, insurance, etc.)
Maintain internal HR system data and prepare monthly reports
Support Local HRBP in France, Portugal and UK regarding labour legislation (eg. CSE in France)
Manage the entire employee life cycle, from pre-hiring and onboarding (including contract preparation) through off-boarding
Assist in developing standard operating procedures and policies to promote company culture and compliance
Who you are
Masters degree in Human Resources, Payroll, and/or Labour law, with a minimum 5 years experience working in HR (Payroll, Operations, or similar role)
Solid understanding of HR policies and practices; global HR experience a plus
Working knowledge of HR & Payroll systems; Workday and Deel experience a plus
Good knowledge of labor law (French Labour Law required)
Fluent in English, with exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with fast-growing companies
Ability to deal with highly sensitive and personal information in a confidential manner
