Job Description Primary Position Objectives The role of the Senior HR Advisor is to support the Head of HR and or HRBP in implementing the people agenda, integrating all the different HR activities in alignment with the needs of the business. The Senior HR Advisor may be assigned to one or more business units and will be part of the Global Engineering & Operations HR team, reporting to the Philippines' Head of HR. Position Responsibilities Drive employee engagement initiatives. Determine what changes can be made to improve employee engagement within the company. Create and introduce an enhanced engagement plan and essential onboard platforms and support critical improvement initiatives. Install engagement solutions that will elevate the employees' work performance and boost productivity. Create awareness about recognition for long-term success. Drive fair, and meaningful recognition that employees will feel valued and appreciated for their hard work and dedication will elevate the employees' morale and foster a culture of appreciation. Support implementation of necessary learning and development opportunities, focus on the needs of the employees and organize skill development programs for the growth of the employees. Develop and implement an appropriate employee feedback mechanism and ensure those action items are promptly completed. Promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Create awareness about a diverse workforce to increase productivity, improve creativity and innovation, prevent unconscious bias, and drive the flexibility to hire from a vast talent pool that fosters diversity and inclusion. Support the creation and implementation of company brand marketing and communication activities that covers internal employees and external talent sources. Provide support to the Head of HR and HRBPs on the following: Creation of an appropriate people strategy to deliver this. Building strong and trusted relationships with the stakeholders in the assigned business units. Aligning HR activities and initiatives with global and local business strategies. Being a consultant to the business unit's management team regarding human resources issues, establishing and maintaining positive employee relations, and fostering a productive working environment. Understanding the nuances required in delivering the people agenda and relevant employment laws and practices. Continuing the work to establish the Dyson employer brand in the Philippines to attract the best. Leading and supporting the change and transition of the business in the organization's human capital area, ensuring the capacity for the changes. Taking care of employees' interests and guiding them and their leaders during the organization's transformation. Ensuring an alignment between people management strategies and the existing business policies and procedures, updating each as required. Playing a role in recruiting and developing a solid leadership team and the business's key talents. Collaborating with the leadership and management team to identify training needs and advocate for continuous employee learning where necessary, providing coaching and mentoring support where required. Guiding the line managers with the information and tools they need to engage and motivate the workforce. Helping increase workplace productivity and employee loyalty by working with line managers to enhance the employer brand and corporate culture. Consult with the business's leadership and management to foster and promote the Dyson core values' engagement at all levels. Assisting the leadership and management in resolving employee relation issues conducting effective investigations, and recommending action for sensitive and complex situations. Coaching the people leaders on the performance management process, compensation and remuneration programs, recruitment practices, and management decision-making. Assisting people leaders on progressive discipline or employees as well as employment decisions. Playing a significant role in participating in project teams and implementing initiatives while ensuring proper communication and collaboration. Qualifications Education: Degree in business or related field required. Key Competencies Has a significant experience in a HR role. Possesses an excellent understanding of business operations and functions, and an understanding of how human resource management practices contribute to core business functions. Ability to systematically deal with organizational changes effectively. Leads the people side of changes within the organization. Successfully implement new processes, products and business strategies while minimizing negative outcomes. Ability to work with geographically and culturally diverse teams and able to understand different ways of interpreting different situations. Adept at managing a broad range of different priorities. Capacity to get others to achieve a given objective. Must know how to influence and communicate with all kinds of groups and cultures, and this way walk the company along the right path. Collaborative yet assertive in order to influence outcomes and results.
