Description
PURPOSE:
Senior Graphic Designers create visual concepts using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. Develop the
overall layout and production design for flyers, brochures, books, price list, etc.
Responsible for guiding Junior Designers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare brochures, flyers, covers, logo designs, social media banners/posts
• Redesign charts, table, graphs illustrations or book layouts
• Review designs for errors before printing or publishing on website
• Able to create competitive layout for medical books
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Present ideas/designs to Art Director
• Developing design briefs that suit the client's purpose
• Responsible for handling junior designer/s
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree or diploma in Multimedia Arts, Fine Arts, Computer Science,
Entertainment Multimedia, or any related field.
• With at least 5 to 6 years of experience in book design, layout & standards
• With very good communication skills
• Must possess artistic ability, must be able to create artistically interesting and appealing designs.
• Proficient in using Adobe CC specifically Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, InDesign, XD, etc.
• Very good in time-management, ability to cope with several projects at a time, and be able to meet target deadlines
• Creative - should be able to think new approaches and develop unique designs that convey recognizable meaning
• Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and client
• Good comprehension to instructions and keen to details
• Must be proactive and a team player
• knowledgeable in contemporary or trendy designs
• Strong graphic design skills.
