The Senior Global Control & Compliance Analyst will assist in the governance process that supports Analog Devices internal control environment in accordance with external regulatory compliance requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404 (SOX).This individual will collaborate with internal personnel and external representatives in support of the team's effort to ensure effective governance, risk, and compliance practices in-line with regulatory reporting requirements.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of an effective second line of defense program to support SOX compliance and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
Act as liaison point between the business control owners and internal/external audit on ITGC & ITAC SOX control design, testing, and remediation.
Work with IT General and Application Control (ITGC & ITAC) control owners and external audit to schedule walkthrough meetings, communicate PBC requests, and provide regular updates on audit status.
Support the completion of key SOX ITGC & ITAC deliverables including internal controls documentation (narratives/flowcharts) and management testing.
Support in the IPE identification, documentation, and testing of IT application controls to satisfy external audit requirements.
Review and map Analog Devices controls against Complementary User Entity Controls (CEUCs) for SOC1 reports where third-party reliance impacts the company's ICFR.
Work with appropriate internal personnel to validate that risks are assess prior to any changes to control processes or technology.
Performs related work as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a business or related field with focus on information systems.
CPA, CIA or CISA strongly preferred
4+ years of working experience with public accounting, SOX audit, internal audit and/or demonstrated record in handling internal controls and compliance programs
Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, risk and controls standards and business process best practices
Knowledge in audit of IT applications and general controls (including SDLC and UAR & Change Management)
Knowledge of SAP, Workday and Promis is a plus
Highly collaborative and flexible ability to multi-task and work with a degree of independence
High sense of urgency to drive execution and achieve results
