Perform daily and monthly financial and accounting transactions with the general ledger system.
Manage and execute monthly analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, analyzes financial information, prepares reports, and verifies accuracy.
Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
Ensure financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
Align general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
Perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
Gather supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping.
Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
Assist with the automation and streamlining of internal and corporate reporting processes.
Work under the Finance and Accounting team
Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholder/s
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 to 3 years' experience of processing/handling GL
BA or BS degree in accounting or related field is preferred
CPA is preferred
With prior work experience in BPO, PEZA, BOI (Board of Investment
Ability to operate a PC efficiently with applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook etc.
Working knowledge of large Enterprise Resource
US GAAP accounting experience is preferred
