SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER
Responsibilities
UI/UX Development: Build sophisticated, high-performance web applications using React.js focusing on scalability and a seamless user experience
State Management Architecture: Design and implement robust state management strategies for complex data flows ensuring the application remains maintainable and predictable
Performance Engineering: Proactively identify rendering bottlenecks and optimize frontend performance, including bundle size reduction, code splitting and memorization strategies
Component Design: Develop reusable, accessible and well-tested component libraries using modern patterns (e.g., Composition, Render Props, and Custom Hooks)
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Designers to transform wireframes into high-fidelity code while integrating efficiently with GraphQL APIs
Qualifications
 
Minimum Requirements
Advanced React.js Expertise: Deep professional experience with the React ecosystem including a mastery of Hooks, the virtual DOM and component lifecycles
Complex State Management: Proven ability to manage large-scale application state. You should have experience with patterns or tools such as Context API, Redux, Recoil or TanStack Query
Performance Tuning: Demonstrated experience in profiling and optimizing React apps
(You must be able to discuss specific techniques [e.g., useMemo, useCallback, virtualization or lazy loading] and their measurable impact)
Modern JavaScript/TypeScript: Strong proficiency in TypeScript and ES6+ features to ensure type safety and code quality
Preferred Experience
Product-Led Background: Experience in a fast-paced environment where frontend decisions directly impact user conversion and retention metrics
Custom Hook Development: A track record of creating sophisticated custom hooks to encapsulate complex logic, improve code reuse and simplify component structures
GraphQL Integration: Experience consuming GraphQL APIs using clients like Apollo Client or Urql including managing local cache and optimistic UI updates
Testing Excellence: Familiarity with Testing Library, Jest or Cypress to ensure UI stability
