We have an exciting opening for a skilled web developer and web designer. In this interesting role, you will have the opportunity to plan, build design and develop websites for multiple web projects.
 
Working at CKI, you'll join our talented team, contributing your creative ideas and skills to design, produce and develop a full range of websites for our rapidly growing list of established businesses and start-ups.
 
We are looking for either 1 strong designer/developer in a single role or splitting the role and looking independently at 1 strong designer and 1 strong developer – depending on skill set.

DESIGNER
 
·        Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
·        XD
·        After Effects
·        Photoshop / InDesign / Illustrator / Lightroom

·        Unity and or Blender Software Experience in addition to the above will be HIGHLY regarded

HTML/CSS/Javascript/Jquery/CSS and Javascript Frameworks
CSS Preprocessing
Version Control / GIT / Responsive Design / Testing / Debugging / Browser Developer Tools
Building and Automation Tools / Web Performance / Command Line / REST (Representational State Transfer)
JSON (Javascript-Objective Notation)/ SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol)
React / Angular / Vue.js / Web Server Programming / TDD (Test Driven Development) / GUI (Graphic User Interface)
CSS Frameworks  - (Bootstrap / Foundation / Pure / Bulma / Semantic UI / Skeleton / Tailwind CSS / Spectre) – Please advise which ones you have knowledge with

YOU WILL HAVE 
Strong knowledge in PHP and WordPress, Drupal websites, plug-ins, customization etc 
Very attentive to details 
Experience in Staging/Development Sites
Relevant education/experience level 
Proven development experience in the frontend skills 
Excellent communication skills (Both verbal and written) 
Well-rounded knowledge of the industry
Experience in setting up servers 
Design skill using Figma/Photoshop and Illustrator is required if applying for the design role
