Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.
We are presently seeking for a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst who will partner with our operations team and collaborate effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders (Costing, A&T, GBS, SCM, Engineering etc...) to support the growth of the business.
Main responsibilities:
I. Financial Management Reporting
Actively involve in the preparation of monthly actual management report and 12-months forecast.
Assists with data extraction, reconciliation and data integrity and accuracy for the monthly financial deck.
Analyzes financial data, include commentary on variance analysis and identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Prepares & analyzes cost center reports.
Purchase Price variances and Production Order variances analysis.
Quarterly E&O reporting Analysis.
II. Financial Budgeting (AOP)
Assists in preparing annual AOP to ensure timely and reliable budget.
Collaborates with cost center owners/HOD on AOP expenses and CAPEX, upload data into HFP, provide analysis and commentary.
Collaborates with Corporate FP&A on R&D, G&A and S&M budget.
III. Business Support
Supports Request for Quotations (RFQ), liaise with costing team for MLO and BOM.
Works closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and support decision-making via business simulations.
Supports queries from tax on Transfer Pricing.
IV. Ad Hoc
Ensures compliance with corporate policy and local accounting standards.
Ensures timely closing and preparation of financial reports to meet deadlines and requirements
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or its equivalent
Professional accountancy (ACCA, CPA) qualifications preferred.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with supervisory skills.
Proficient in SAP.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
Meticulous, with strong problem and analytical skill set
Has the work initiative and willing to take up new challenges.
Has good verbal and written communications skills and can communicate with all levels in the organization.
Able to work under pressure and can meet tight deadlines.
Can work independently with minimum supervision, team player
Other Requirements:
Progressive financial experience focused on providing budget, forecast and business analysis support.
To supervise FP&A financial activities.
