The Senior Financial Analyst will primarily be responsible for monitoring Asia WAM accounting and reporting processes and controls, supporting the monthly close and regional entries, driving regional projects and initiatives, and coordinating regional efforts on process standardization and documentation.

We are looking for someone with:
CPA degree
Prior experience for over 6 years in a Finance role, regional experience would be an advantage
Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-performing, and collaborative team environment while managing multiple, constantly changing priorities and ad-hoc requests
Knowledge of general ledger reporting tools and systems
Extensive experience with MS Excel including working with Macros and other Excel add-ins
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently with less supervision
Proactive in executing and owning the processes and controls
Experience in Essbase, Infor and Power BI would be an advantage
Excels in a team environment interacting with both business and finance colleagues
Experience in working as an offsite support to business functions
On the job you will:
Responsible for monitoring Asia WAM accounting and reporting processes and controls, identifying issues, and following through the resolution with the respective countries. The processes include, but not limited to, intercompany reconciliations, business to legal entity reconciliations, monthly close control checks, tax governance, etc.
Support in the monthly close for Asia region for the regional deliverables (including regional entries), including updating the models as and when needed.
Design and implement controls to ensure accuracy and timeliness of Asia WAM P&L reporting.
Coordinate Asia WAM responses to ongoing and ad hoc requests relating to accounting and reporting and capital matters.
Be an integral part of regional finance initiatives / projects related to accounting and reporting, including ad hoc business requests.
Drive process documentation for key processes across the region.
Promote a culture of standardization and efficiency across Asia WAM Finance teams.
