Requirements:
· Candidate must possess Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance and/or Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant
· At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required
· Experience in companies with Australian operations will be an advantage.
· Strong financial accounting knowledge.
· Team Leading experience required.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Position is permanent full-time
COMPETENCIES:
· Detailed understanding of accounting and IFRS (AASB knowledge will be advantageous)
· Financial statements (Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) preparation and analysis
· Proficiency with accounting systems including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (Billings) and Banking modules as well as other Financial applications
· Strong computer skills in MS Office applications including advanced excel skills.
· SAP experience would be an advantage.
· Experience with lease standard IFRS/AASB16
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Process improvements experience
· Excellent attention to detail
· Independent, analytical, and proactive thinking is a must.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Reporting to the CFO of Comscentre Australia:
· Financial Statement preparation and analysis (month-end, year-end)
· End of month journals and analysis
· Consolidation of financial statements
· Monthly General Ledger account reconciliations
· Asset's control and integrity of records
· Job costing / WIP understanding (preparation, analysis, reconciliation)
· Payments and cash flow planning.
· Assistance with budgeting process
· Able to manage lots of data and consolidate into clear reports.
· Oversee Accounts payable and receivable team.
· Team members will look to you for guidance in completing their work.
· Supplier telecommunication reconciliations
· Other general financial and administrative duties
· Work with finance team and lead audit process (review and completion of requirements).
· Assisting Australian and local finance team with different functions including reporting, data entry and any other tasks required time by time.
