Senior System RF Applications Engineer
(As P3 for Battery Management Systems, under ACA - 4791)
Qualifications:
- Graducate of BS Electronis or Electrical Engineering. MS units in Wireless Communications or Instrumentation & Control is an advantage.
- At least 2 years relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge in electronics, circuit analysis, RF Systems and RF Board Design
- Proficiency in majority of the following areas:
- RF IC evaluation systems & methods for RF Transceivers, RF Power Amplifiers, LNAs, PAs PLLs etc.
- Usage of bench test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Phase Noise Analyzers, Network Analyzers, SDRs, RF Sig Gen, etc)
- Simulation tools and software such as Allegro PCB Designer, LabView, ADS, Spice, Multisim, Matlab
- Experience/Knowledge in the following is an advantage:
- Communication Protocols (Bluetooth, WiFi, WirelessHart, IoT Protocols, etc)
- FPGA programming and EMC Testing
- Effective problem-solving skills and proven track record of project delivery with high customer satisfaction
- Experience in leading teams/projects is an advantage. Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in cross-functional teams is a must.

The System RF Applications Engineer is responsible for the evaluation, customer applications board development (Hardware and/or Software), and applications support for low power RF transceiver product development, prior to release. He/She will be collaborating closely with IC designers and Systems Engineering Teams in developing boards and evaluation software for RF products and systems. He/She will also support new product definition and development.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
