Job Description
Job description and responsibilities:
As Senior Engineer Infrastructure Datacenter you will have the possibility to develop and implement own ideas, work on innovative projects and technologies, work independently within the specified framework and, thus, have a direct impact on the success of the future Automotive IT as well as Automotive business.
Basic responsibilities:
Managing and supporting MIS* Systems & Service incl. Hardware (Chassis, Blades, Switches), Storage (Netapp), Virtualization (VMware, 3 vcenters), Central Management Software, monitoring tools
Administering and supporting MIS* Hardware HP & CISCO (Chassis/Blades/Switches), Netapp (FAS80xx/9000/...)
Troubleshooting and debugging of IT infrastructure DC problems and incidents
Problem and escalation Management as well as support level 3 for all MIS* technology in an international environment
Driving continuous improvement for efficiency and effectiveness of IT services
Execute change and incident management by following the internal service management rules
Project responsibilities for up to 77 locations worldwide incl. budget and forecast planning for these locations from a central perspective. Vital part of rolling out and migration entire MIS* environment
Representing A IN DC in terms of councils and acting as interface to external partners to steer and manage involved parties
Actively influence digital transformation and be a constant driver of technical innovations for the next MIS generations
Ensure necessary level of quality and compliance

Job Requirements
Academic Degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology or comparable study)
Several years of technical experience within the field of Information Technology, preferable hands-on experience around Storage, Virtualization, Hardware, Cloud services, Current environment (VMware, Netapp, Cloud: AWS, MS Azure)
Experience in scripting (Powershell, Python) (would be beneficial),
Experience in managing projects of small / medium size (Rollout - Migration),
Experience in coordinating various internal and external stakeholders and managing external service providers,
ITIL Knowledge with respect to Incident and Change Management,
Proactive and able to work independently or with minimal supervision,
Independent problem-solving capability in a creative and structured way, while maintaining a timely and cost-effective approach
A positive attitude and desire to make an impact on the organization with decisiveness and result orientation,
Planning and organizational skills, high level of dedication, flexibility, and independence,
Communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a distributed, word-wide environment/team,
Intercultural experience (would be beneficial),
Willingness to travel (international and domestic),
