SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
 
Job Responsibilities
Lead the design and engineering of solar PV systems, including detailed load analysis, single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and equipment sizing to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Supervise and validate site surveys and feasibility studies, ensuring accuracy of technical data and proper assessment of site conditions for design and implementation.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring all works comply with engineering specifications, project standards, and regulatory codes.
Review and approve electrical designs, plans, and calculations prepared by junior engineers and CAD operators.
Ensure strict compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), and Department of Energy (DOE) regulations.
Prepare and review project documentation such as design drawings, engineering reports, inspection checklists, and as-built plans.
Coordinate closely with project managers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure technical accuracy, timely delivery, and cost efficiency of projects.
Provide expert troubleshooting and post-installation technical support to resolve system performance issues and ensure client satisfaction.
Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in renewable energy, electrical design, and system integration to drive innovation and sustainability in company projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Professional License (REE) required.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical design, solar PV systems, or power distribution projects.
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and energy storage systems.
Proven understanding of the Philippine Electrical Code, OSHS, DOE, and LGU permitting requirements.
Proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and MS Office; experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) is an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in project supervision, technical documentation, and quality assurance.
