HDE's continued growth and expansion, has created a need for HDE to develop a design team in the Philippines made up of Senior Mechanical/Structural Draftspersons.
The role will involve a wide variety of project types both in size and nature, requiring you to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Detailed design of both Structural and Mechanical equipment
- Producing Fabrication drawings and detailed arrangements
- Liaising with project managers on design and scope requirements
- Budget and time estimating
- Liaising and working with HDE's Engineers on projects
Required Experience
- Minimum 4 years' experience
A Successful Candidate Must Have
- Strong English communication skills - verbal, written, and listening
- High standard of 3D modeling software literacy (Inventor preferred, Advance Steel Advantage)
- Fast and accurate design skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a friendly team environment
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the application of Australian Standards
- An interest in solving practical and technical problems
- The ability to work to a high standard while still adhering to strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Previous experience working on Australian projects
